Synopsis
Doubts begin to surface suggesting that the real culprits behind a brutal massacre might be "road agents". Swearengen, intrigued by the incident, shows a peculiar concern for the lone survivor, a young girl under the care of an unexpected duo - Doc Cochran and Calamity Jane. Concurrently, Bullock and Star negotiate with Swearengen for a property deal, causing Swearengen to question a possible alliance between Wild Bill and the hardware entrepreneurs.
