Synopsis
In Canton, Mississippi, a young lawyer defends a black father who killed two white men after they raped his daughter. Amidst escalating racial tensions, the trial becomes a flashpoint, attracting violent retaliation from the Ku Klux Klan and challenging the community's deeply ingrained prejudices.
